Our journey begins with ethical sourcing. We partner with suppliers that procure resources from responsibly managed forests, ensuring our raw materials come from sustainable sources. While our production is proudly based in the UK, we also tap into the neighbouring EU for some of our sheet materials—specifically from Belgium. This strategic approach keeps our carbon footprint low by cutting down on long-distance transport. Plus, ordering in bulk means fewer trips, which is a win for sustainability!
First up, our talented design team maximises the use of raw materials with designs that ensure every inch of sheet material is utilised as far as possible. With our advanced machinery, we minimise off-cuts and waste. The finalised designs are passed to the production team. Using cutting-edge technology, our CNC team transforms those designs into reality with precision and flair. Every piece is crafted to perfection, setting the foundation for the furniture.
When it’s time to create sturdy frames and stylish metal accents, our metal team truly shines. These welders are experts at their craft, ensuring that every piece is not just built to last but also adds that extra touch of elegance to your space.
There’s something extraordinary about handcrafted furniture, and that’s where our dedicated handmade team comes in, adding meticulous attention to detail. Next, we dive into the vibrant world of colour! Our paint and powder coating team works their magic to enhance raw materials with stunning finishes. Whether a bold splash or a sleek, modern look, this team ensures every piece perfectly fits your aesthetic.
As we near the finish line, our assembly team steps in like a well-oiled machine. They carefully put together each piece, ensuring that every desk, table, and shelf is ready to impress when it arrives at your space.
Finally, we have our pick, pack, and go team! They ensure your furniture is packed to perfection and swiftly dispatched. We take packaging very seriously. We’ve invested in a CNC cardboard cutting machine that allows us to cut recycled cardboard to fit each product perfectly, ensuring nothing goes to waste. Leftover cardboard gets repurposed for extra support, and we’re initiating reclaiming cardboard from our project sites to recycle and reuse. It’s all about reducing our footprint while making recycling easier for you!
But our commitment to sustainability doesn’t stop at production! After crafting our beloved products, all leftover offcuts are repurposed to create smaller products and accessories, or they get a new life by heating our factory through the log burner. The remaining scraps are turned into pellets for the local community to use as heating resources.
