Rawside is a British-based designer and builder of stylish and sustainable UK made office furniture. A disruptive brand conquering a traditionally formulaic market, Rawside’s furniture supports the workplace with smart design, connecting high-function with super-tough durability.

With a motto of ‘made with soul’, the company culture is centred around enriching environments, brought to life by a contented and connected team, a workforce fully invested in the business and its values.

Founded in 2014 by Richard Gann and Liz Close, Rawside was born from the couple’s shared desire to design and make furniture that flipped the lid on the standard commercial offering. From the beginning, Rawside has been dedicated to generating as minimal negative environmental impact as possible - using sustainably sourced materials, designing furniture built to last, manufacturing in the UK, and creating minimal waste in the process.

London born and bred, Rawside outgrew their original Brixton base, opening the doors to their new purpose built workshop and warehouse on the edge of South Downs National Park in Hampshire in 2022 and a new showroom in Shoreditch, London in 2023.

2023 also saw Rawside achieve B Corp certification – a major milestone in their commitment to creating a business for good.
