Rawside win big at Mixology Awards 2018
The team behind Mix Interiors magazine certainly know how to throw a “do”, and this year’s Mixology Awards were no exception – what a night!
They chose one of the most stunning Thameside locations to throw a summer evening cocktail party, Old Billingsgate Market, and the invited guests lapped it up. The great and good of the commercial design community were out in force, with over 1,000 industry bods looking spectacular in their natty threads, all raring to give the most prestigious awards of the design calendar a big “whoop”.

The Rawsiders were totally buzzed to have been shortlisted in the ‘Manufacturer of the Year’ category – couldn’t believe it actually – sharing the nominations with such incredible and respected competition, so they embarked on a night of joyous celebration, revelling in the fact that they’d even made the cut.
After so many talented people were awarded for their awesome achievements, Mix Interiors Editor, Mick Jordan read out our category, the table was pretty relaxed, until he uttered the following words…
“For our judges there was a stand-out winner here. A company that makes its own products right here in the capital.”
And the winner is...Rawside!
Bewilderment, disbelief and a whole heap of giddy excitement rocked the Rawside table, manifested in the loudest roar of the night. After a moment’s “WTF”, the team wended their way to the stage to collect the pretty goddamn gorgeous trophy, presented by Ben Gillam from award sponsor ThirdWay Trust.
After that, well, let’s just say that DJ Seb Fontaine provided a great sound track to the Made with Soul crew celebrations and we think everyone made it home (well they’re all back at work, so they did eventually!). Now it’s time to get back on it and continue with making really great furniture in the heart of Brixton.
