Rawside round-up of latest projects - each designed to individually inspire

Office space has come a long way. Evolving from regiment to free thinking, not one office is the same.

We are so passionate about creating unique spaces that work. Here are the latest Rawside collaborative projects we are super proud of.

The Brewery Project

Squire & Partners have completed The Brewery Building for client Atlas Properties – a reimagining of an existing 1970s office building in Islington.

“‘We only had about two weeks to fit out this space – in fact we had about six weeks to specify everything and take into account manufacturing times. We worked closely with Rawside – who are based down in Brixton. Their raw, industrial aesthetic fitted really well with the narrative and concept for the building. They were the ideal partners.”

This stunning loft style space in Kings Cross, London was recently redesigned by @Squire and Partners. Bureau were tasked with sourcing furniture for this office showcase with a four week deadline. Fortunately we work with some fantastic suppliers who were able to help us on this tight turnaround time.

The Building Society

The Building Society is a purpose driven community and our members are united around a common cause: to drive social and environmental change and create better ways of working.

Rawside was selected to supply all of the desks and tables because of its business ethos, commitment to sustainability and expertise in designing furniture that brings people together and encourages collaboration. Their team was also clearly motivated and passionate about the work and ethos of the company.

We valued Rawside’s approach to reducing waste. The furniture they supplied is crafted from materials that can be reused or recycled. Their products and manufacturing processes are designed to avoid waste; any offcuts are used to make bespoke furniture. They also take all of the wrapping from their furniture back for re-use (where possible) or recycling after delivery.

To reduce our footprint and support the local community, we use local suppliers wherever possible and chose to work Rawside in part because its showroom, offices and factory are also based in London. The plywood-topped, steel tables and desks compliment the contemporary look and feel of the interiors at The Building Society and range from large communal tables to smaller hot-desking and fixed desks for members to work and meet around.

Jellyfish Pictures

We love an opportunity to work with unique aesthetics to help create spaces that reflect the vibrancy of a brand. We are proud to show off this epic project with Peldon Rose at Jellyfish Pictures Studio - check out that colour!

“A second meeting room sits adjacent to the reception area. Unusual in shape, it has been constructed with curved glass and perfectly captures the reflection of spotlights and column lighting. Within this room, the oak meeting table has been inlayed with the Jellyfish logo and four limited edition Julian Opie prints hang on the wall.”

Defining a workspace like Jellyfish Pictures was a welcomed challenge for the team at Rawside. Utilising the classic Rawside industrialist furniture with provoking finishes creates this celebration of interior style.
